Extra support for creative paths

We host weekly practical sessions focused on the things that actually get you noticed by employers. We will work together on building a solid CV, mastering interview techniques, and developing workplace skills. These sessions are also designed to help rebuild your confidence if you’ve been out of the routine of work for a while.

Looking for work is exhausting, and the stress of it is real. That is why offer you free access to monthly reflective practice sessions. These are safe, confidential spaces where you can access free group mental health support while you are job hunting. Crucially, this support doesn't stop the day you get hired, it remains open to you once you start work to help you settle into your new role.

Our roots are in the creative industries, so if you do want to explore a career or self-employment in the creative sector, we have additional sessions for that. You will get specific guidance and the chance to connect directly with people already working in those industries. But it is entirely optional. If you just want a standard employment contract in a different sector, our main focus is getting you there.

Who Can Join?

Creating Careers is open to anyone aged 16 or over in Sheffield who is out of work.
